THE ART
Side One is intended to be pop music via the electronic, as opposed to electric, medium. Requiste was the emphasis on a dance beat, with complexity subservient to the rhythm. On Side Two, more unusual timbres and rhythms are explored. The material is a program based on a very unpleasant stay in the hospital with a kidney stone. This experience is electronically realized by the use of tonal and atonal settings mixed with fixed and free-form rhythms.
THE SCIENCE E-Mu 16 voice microprocessor keyboard, 48 K Ram, full software, with disk drive.
