In questo disco viene usata una nuova tecnica di esecuzione basata sull'utilizzo di una serie di capotasti posti sulla cassa armonica della chitarra (pezzi N°4,5 con acustica 6 corde, N°2 con chitarra tenore nordamericana 4 corde).
Le corde allungate oltre il ponte permettono con l'elettrificazione di far risaltare armonici e risonanze contemporaneamente al suono reale (pezzi N°1-3-7).
I pezzi N°6 (elettrica 6 corde) e N°8 (acustica 6 corde) sono eseguiti con strumenti comuni.
Non sono state effettuate sovraincisioni.
Questo lavoro non sarebbe stato possibile senza l'esempio di Hans Reichel che per primo ha introdotto le tecniche citate.
